Okay, so here are some drawings of Kiko so you can recognize her.
1. Kiko is a female blue merle Australian Shepherd, and she's my main sona. I decided on an Aussie because I love their personality, energy and floppy ears. After that, I had a hard time deciding on colors,
but I ended up with the blue merle design. I love the color grey and the brown and reddish colors remind me of fall which is my favorite season.
2. Kiko is almost a year old.
Even though she's not very old I still have a lot of art of her. I draw her often and I've also gotten art of her through trades, requests, and commissions. I love seeing her drawn in different artistic styles!
3. Kiko was named after a chinchilla! XD I wanted to give her a Japanese name because I really loved my time in Japan. I looked on the internet for lots of names, but couldn't find the right one. Randomly I watched a youtube video about chinchillas, and one of the chinchillas was named Kiko! I was like, that's a perfect name for my OC!
4. You'll notice there's a heart on Kiko's chest. It represents vulnerability, something that I personally struggle with. It's hard for me to talk to people about how I feel especially when I'm angry or upset. When Kiko is distraught the heart changes into a broken heart or a giant white X across her chest. This is mostly represented in my vent art, I haven't posted much of it on her, but I will soon.
5. Kiko has two different sides to her, which I draw often. One side of her is sweet, cute and friendly. I'm like this most of the time. But she can also be spunky, strong, confident, and can stand up for herself. She is small but ready to fight if needed. I'm becoming a little more like this version of Kiko as I gain more confidence in myself.
6. She's almost always drawn as a puppy! Maybe it's because of her reference sheet, but I also draw her 98% of the time as a puppy. I'm not sure why maybe it's just easier to draw but also she just looks really cute as a puppy.
7. So far, Kiko is always drawn by herself. I don't have any art of her interacting with other animals. I need to change that, she needs some friends!
8. Kiko's best traits are that she's kind, forgiving, loyal, and always willing to help. These are all personality traits that I need too, especially the forgiving part!
